About the Festival

Hong Kong International Awards is an independent celebration of bold storytelling, creative vision and cinematic excellence from around the world. We welcome filmmakers of every background—from emerging talents and first-time directors to established professionals—and provide a platform where distinctive voices can be discovered and recognised.

Our international jury evaluates each submission with attention to originality, direction, storytelling, performances and technical achievement. Selected projects compete across a range of categories, with official winners receiving festival recognition and a digital award certificate.

Presented through an accessible online format, the festival connects filmmakers across borders and allows exceptional work to be considered by an international community without geographical limitations.
